One Of The Worst Shows

This was legit one of the worst musical productions I’ve seen. No doubt the songs from Alanis’ catalog are classic, and they seamlessly told a story. However, the story included all hot button issues in an earnest attempt to feel important, while in actuality, diluting those issues. That combined with the absolute horrendous singing voices of the cast who butchered every beloved song. You know when you’re so embarrassed that you get the ‘church giggles’? This show did that for me. During the 2nd act I could barely contain my laughter. Coming off the stupendous production of Moulin Rouge, this show would be better served as a high school production and funny thing, I thought that’s what I was watching.
